can anyone recommend a skyactiv d versatuner specialist, preferably from Europe or maybe Australia who has actually been able to develop tunes with hands on experience. i'm wary of accepting tunes from people claiming they can tune these engines who have no hands on experience with them. I, like most of the rest of the Mazda diesel owners have tried and loved the base and performance map offered on the database up until he turbo oscillation starts happening which then just makes you lose faith in this platform as you become scared of putting your foot down to do an overtake or just plain enjoy a nice open road for fear of sudden power loss!

Im surprised no one is sharing or validating any of their custom tunes for the 2.2 diesel 3's

I think we've just disappeared into the background and just accepted the stock 150-175hp tune is best we're going to get. It's a massive shame as versatune is exactly the format I wanted for tuning my car with the ability to switch from stock for dealership visits. I've been teetering on the edge for a while now of just writing off the substantial amount I paid for the full version, expecting a whole raft of different tunes, and just going with a local tuner that'll give me 210bhp.

I have been using the stage 1 Performance tune 1.08 for around year now without any issues at all.
During the really hot summer days here in Australia i never push my car hard anyway.

It's just a shame we don't see any more development into this tune, especially when there are plenty of people that can help with road testing.

Tried the 1.08 tune but the power delivery seemed lumpy for want of a better word and didn't seem as smooth as the 150-175 tune. The car car seemed to pull better as soon as I change gear but the 1.08 felt like there was more turbo lag somehow. Might try it again but record some more logs to compare in virtual Dyno.
