Stop the bump in idle

Post by 80HD »

Hi dudes and dudettes.
I got my idle on the bp sweet, but engage the clutch or roll the car in neutral and the revs go up.
Assuming when wheel speed is detected the ecu swaps to another table.
Which table though?
Ive played with all the idle coreection tables but nothing changes. So assume it is in the main ignition tables?

Answer to the above is yes it is in the ignition tables. By virtye of the linear/cable throttle remap it stopped the rising in idle. Now i can brap up to the lights without the revs hanging. :beertoast

Alright, this hasnt been fixed like i initially thought.

i did have a theory on why but no real data, so went and logged some parameters.

now i have data...

what i have noted is that when i return to a stop the throttle is closed, the revs still stay up.

The idle air control correlates with the hanging revs - (yellow line)

where the hell do i find the table for the idle air control???

Assuming it is nothing more than a parameter to idle up by way of throttle body adjustment

There is in Absolute Limits a Load Limit Unk table - NFI what that table is for

Any help?

Switching to Adaptronic to resolve, also because it has MAP for better resolution for future boost.
