would like to shed more light on this guy Xcorbel he has been paving the road for a global E-85 tune and id highly recommend you check out is github page so you can see what he has been up to.

:bow LINK: https://github.com/xcorbel/RX8-E85-Vtune

drop a comment and show some support because if we show a lot of interest in a global E-85 tune hopefully versa tuner can set a preconfigured E-85 tune for new users to flash.

RX-8s run really good on ethanol and make really good NA power on it as well. One common misconception is that you need a power adder to even consider running ethanol which is not true at all. Anyone who says that your wasting time on an ethanol tune simply has never ran an RX-8 on ethanol to begin with. not to mention we can get rid of that pesky carbon buildup by simply running on ethanol and make more power so hell lets run a 50 shot of NOS with Ethanol and gap some 8s that still run on 91.

hello,
thanks for mentionning my github project :beertoast

basically nothing rocket science take the VE table multiply all by 130% and you re good to go for e-85, you need to fine tune the 130% depending on your blend (130% works well with 75% Ethanol blend).

still fine tuning the cold cranking as winter is coming and the cold startup become longer. (funny to have more difficulty to start cold rather than hot with an RX-8  )
