Hi all thinking of getting VersaTune for my 4 port rx8, I've never done fuel mapping, does anyone have a nice 4 port tune to get me started? And perhaps some words of wisdom,

Catback exhaust
E10 95 octane (not sure if this matters)

yes, you can do a lot with it.
Have you purchased the full license ?
you can adjust the common "issues" like temps, rev limits, etc. define less conservative afr targets and improve the VE table by logging under all driving conditions.

Disclaimer:
In case you don't want to use or have access to premium fuel => Reset Ignition L&T timings tables to default
In case you don't have 231hp Excentric bearings => Reset Rev Limiter table to default
In case you don't run a decat exhaust => Reset AFR tables to default
Car Upgrades :
- 6ports excentric bearings
- More permissive OEM style airfilter
- Decat + Muffler
- RRP Coils / MSD Leads
- Oil Pressure Regulator
- Koyorad 48mm radiator
Reliability Mods :
- Adjusted Fan temp enabling (91° / 95°)
- Oil injection increased
- Rev Limit Warmup setup (4000RPM till 66°c)
- Idle at temp increased to 870RPM (To get a bit of Oil Pressure, and safe for emission tests)
- Softer cold Startup Idle
- Better Knock Protection (pulling 3° instead of 1 if so)
Tuned :
- Absolut limits setup
- Soft Coils Dwell increased
- Normal Rev Limiter adjusted to 8350RPM
- AFR tables smoother and adjusted for more torque at high RPM (Leaner after 4500 WOT)
- Adjusted Ignition timing to run a better L&T split between L&T + soft Increase for higher Octane Fuel (98RON/93AKI)
