Flames gone?

When I first installed versatune, I used the intake, exhaust, 91 octane, bhr coils tune that came with it. I changed decel fuel cut to 9800 in all cells. It was awesome and very often I had huge orange flames when I'd hit the throttle after a rpm drop. I updated the software and reflashed what I thought was the same tune and now I very rarely get any flames. Did something change? Can I change a fuel table to get it back?

There were no changes in the software that could affect this.

Thank you. Is there something I can change with the fueling on decel to help? I'm not terribly interested in pops and crackles.
