4-Port Base Map

Post by assumingctrl »

Hello,

For reference I have a 4-Port 5 speed RX8.

I have downloaded Versatuner, connected to my RX8 and have installed it, however, I can see in the base map that the rev limit is set to 9000, which to my understanding exceeds the stock rev limit of 7500rpm on the 4 Port.

Is there something I'm missing here? I don't want to raise the rev limit.

Should I hold off on flashing any tunes for now?

Or just make sure to shift at the beep and not over-rev?

You are correct, this is an error in our launch control implementation for this car. Please change the rev limiter to 7500 if you wish to retain factory behavior. The error will be corrected in a future update.
