Some people tuning via mazdaedit have mentioned there are some cat protection tables. Meaning when the ecu calculates a high cat temp (sometimes erroneously), it'll start to go way rich in order to cool the cats and save them. This is not ideal for power and can lead to KR.
This can be a problem for people running catless headers or people doing trackdays that aren't concerned with cat life. Could one of the 2 unknown fuel enrichment tables be related to this? I haven't seen this happen, but I'd like to prevent it from happening.
ND2 Cat protection table?
