Disabling DTC's
Does disabling DTC's also disable the corresponding readiness monitors, or leave them in a state of Not Complete? Or have I just driven enough (at least 100 miles since last tune flash) to flip them (O2, heated O2, and catalyst monitors to be specific.)

Re: Disabling DTC's
Readiness monitors are not affected and they will not complete if there are issues with your car. Only the malfunction indicator lamp will be disabled for that DTC.

Re: Disabling DTC's
Is there foreseeable intention to add/enable the disabling of readiness monitors? Not going to lie, the main reason I purchased this tuning set-up was because I was under the impression that it would make enable me to “pass” a state inspection.

I am sorry, there are no plans to do that because it would allow our customers to tamper with the emissions systems and mask the results. We do not want any trouble with the authorities.

I am guessing you are from the united states like myself? If so, have you seen in the news recently the EPA and Federal Govt. is going after just about every single diesel truck tuner that provides drop in after market chips that the vehicle they are installed in not just a non-emissions compliant vehicle, but turns it into a literal environmental nightmare. And if that were the end of it right there, I would not mind and I am sure the staff wouldn't mind at all either, except now the providers of those tunes/chips are getting hit with MILLIONS in law suits / fines, and some people may even be going to prison
