First tune noob help

Hi guys, super excited to stuck into vt once my OBDLink shows up.
My car is a 2010 Mazda 3 mps, 55000 miles, current mods are:- HPFP internals, cork sport short ram intake , go fast bits recirc valve. Always running 99 octane.
Basically just looking to use an OTS map for now until I upgrade exhaust, intake etc. I’m just wondering is there anything I need to check or do before flashing an OTS map or am I good to just go ahead with it. Also any recommendations on what map to run would be a great help. Sorry I’m a complete noob and do want to mess anything up.

You can run any OTS map with these mods. However the high load ones are for upgraded exhaust. You can run them without having a downpipe or at least a test pipe but you risk cooking your exhaust valve seals if you do long pulls in upper gears or back to back pulls like you'd do on a circuit.
