I received a new 3 BAR MAP (TMAP actually since it has a BAT sensor too) yesterday. I will start looking at the wiring this weekend.
Once we get the config fine tuned, we will be able to make it an option in VersaTuner.
This one is from GM Performance Parts. It is readily available from any GM Performance Parts dealer.

Looks nice!
How plug and play is it? Is connector the only difference?

Re: 3 BAR MAP
I believe the only difference is the connector. I will pull the oem sensor and take pics tomorrow.
I want to make an adapter M-F pigtail to connect between the stock harness connector and the new sensor.
I'll provide part numbers when I get it all sorted out.

Re: 3 BAR MAP
would this be the sensor you guys were referring to for the fuel pressure? Its going to allow higher pressure? but will need some fuel pump mods as well correct?

Re: 3 BAR MAP
This is the Manifold Absolute Pressure and Boost Air Temperature sensor in the intake manifold. This will allow boost up to about 30 PSI. The stock sensor is good for up to 2.5 BAR or about 22 PSI.
FYI - this sensor is located across from the EGR dump in the intake. So, it gets CAKED with carbon soot and PCV gunk. I recommend cleaning it periodically to ensure accurate readings. After four years, mine was buried in black gunk.

Re: 3 BAR MAP
Comparison pics of the OEM and the GM MAP
Notice the OEM is gunked up after only a couple months in a brand new engine.

You can buy the pigtail here: http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/produc ... ts_id/1626
I found this stuff like last July.
Stock map sensor:
Other Bosch 3.0 Bar T-Map Sensor / 0 281 002 845 (fitment verified, but not tuning):
Scalar A - 279.5555528
Scalar B - 0.23529412
Offset - 5.44444 (repeating)
