This morning I checked the WGA using a not so subtle tyre pressure gauge, not ideal haha, the rod starts to move by around 96kpa (14psi) and is well open at 137kpa (20psi), I checked that nothing was fouling the mechanical parts also. While I was there I adjusted rod out 3 turns and took the below log. basically nothing changed and its definitly not under control.
Im going to change boost signal source tomorrow and rule that out also :banghead

Can you tell us where are the EBCS ports connected to?
Also, with a 14PSI spring you should not boost more than like 13-15PSI (when the WG should be fully open) with disconnected EBCS or zeroed WGCD table/load corrections. So I still think you have the 21PSI spring and that may be the only problem that you're having.
It happened in the past that the ATP guys send 8PSI or 21PSI springs even if the reseller requirement was for the 14PSI spring (basically there are 3-4 cases on msf.org where people run the 21PSI spring, but those boost up to 38-45PSI).

The EBCS was removed for the last 2 logs it was installed as follows; port 2 to wga, port 3 to boost source, port 1 back to turbo inlet pipe.
I will also try and get the part number off WGA and see what that cross references to aswell.

Thanks for your input!

Current WGA part# 480009-0
very close to available part numbers but obviously not listed, for what reason Im not sure.

Small late update, I had some spare time so I fitted a boost gauge, refitted ATP boost hose with the hose barb fitting and removed my boost signal source from TMIC tank. Pretty sure that my fitting into the TMIC tank was the issue, the protrusion of the fitting on the inside must have been in the air stream. Anyway I tried the WGA direct to boost ATP boost hose signal, the boost appears to be steady enough to warrant refitting the EBCS on a 0'd WGDC, boost appears to still be steady which is good but I can see that the GTX wants to creep now I have a gauge!

They are known to creep a bit at high boost with catless exhausts...

I have the catted cp-e dp, Im hoping when the time comes that the boost is raised that creep is less of a problem but not overly confident on that! I did port the WG but after seeing just how much some are removing in MSF that I may have to attack that again.

Ok, I have another ATP GTX30 in my hands at the moment, its WGA part #480009-6 which is apparently 14psi, appears to be a common part number. Take that info with a grain of salt :)
