Hey everyone,
since i can’t seem to find anything in the software itself I’m asking here.
Is it possible to set up a rev limiter/LC that works with ignition/spark cut rather than fuel cut? I saw a thread in the RX8 forum which said it wasn’t possible yet, but that was 2 years ago, so I’m just wondering.
Would be interested in this for car show purposes, rev battles etc.
Thank y’all!

Re: Ignition Cut
No, but there are ways around it. I implemented this like some kind of soft cut.

Re: Ignition Cut
That’s interesting, do you maybe have some kind of Video of the limiter cut?
Because of now i can’t really imagine if the “soft cut” method works out for my needs.
Or would this also be the solution for what i’m searching for?

Re: Ignition Cut
No, I do not have such a video.
However my solution may not work for what you need, it's purpose is to limit the engine power as much as possible before hitting the actual rev limit.
Also because of how the calibration tables work you may actually lose about 200rpm on the top of the rev range, which in my case it's not a problem as I've set the rev limit to 7350 wanting to stop at about 7150 actually.
