The next step

Post by Steve @ VersaTune »

I've ordered an ATP GT3071R. I will install that with a tubular manifold and build a tune for that combo. I think there are quite a few people who either have a GT3071R or are considering one. I hope having a good OTS tune for that combo will help them.

My K04 is smoking like crazy. I need to be able to idle my car to defrost the windshield without losing a 1/2 qt. of oil.

One of the other Beta testers is running an upgraded K04. When that tune is finished, I'll add it to the DB.

Well, everything is good except my industrial pneumatic solenoid I use for the BCS burnt out the MOSFET on the ECU board that drives it. I am working on repairing that. I have no boost over wastegate spring pressure of 12-14 PSI. It can flow ~310g/s at 6500 at 14 or 15 PSI. The K04 maxed out around 290 g/s at 22 PSI. There is lots of room to grow with the GT3071. I should have the solenoid issue fixed in a week or so.

I received a corksport FMIC yesterday. I will dyno before and after vs. the ETS TMIC.
