MAF Tuning or VE base tuning?

New to Versatune, been tuning hondas for a decaded now, fluent in AEM, Haltech, Fueltech, and quite a few others.

Is this system VE based or MAF based? I assume its primarily MAF based but it also has a VE table?

It has a VE table and another table for VVT VE adjustment, but since it's MAF based altering that VE table hardly makes any sense, possibly only for very aggressive cams.
