VE Tables for series 1 RX8

In most Volumetric Efficiency tables the cells are shown in percentage. In the rx8 table the cells range from .8744 to 1.1 what calculation is this? Thanks in advance :bow

The numbers are expressed as a ratio.
1.0 = 100%
0.87 = 87%
