Importing tunes

Post by inverted »

While attempting to import my first custom e-tune I received the following error message:

---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
The tune you are trying to import is not compatible with your vehicle platform.
---------------------------

I tried upgrading to version 1.6.0 but still got the same error. Am I doing something wrong or should I ask the tuner to check at his end?

Were you trying to import a tune written for a different platform car?

No, it was written by Alex specifically for my car based on logs I sent him so I'm assuming he got everything right at his end. I looked around in Versatune and couldn't see anything out of place so I'm at a loss to understand where the problem lies.

Did you manage to solve it? You should let Alex install the latest VT version and ask him to reexport the tune.
