Just started using versa on a mazda 6 mps. i have been using a hp stream 7 tablet. This has started freezing when logging or when i have the dashboard turned on for too long.
I tried switching to my laptop but i get this message when i try to connect to the ecu.
unpsecified error, use PassThruGetLastError for obtaining error text string.
laptop is win8.1, i am using a tracrix openport 2.0. drivers installed on both tablet and laptop.
any help would be appreciated.

That could be related to the power settings of the tablet that make it sleep after a certain amount of time. Please try changing the power options to prevent the tablet form sleeping.
The new version of VT will automatically prevent the device from sleeping or turning off the screen during the logging session.
