Hoping this is a easy one to sort, but having a weird issue.
Hard drive died on laptop so had to rebuild and start afresh, installed version 1.7.0.0 from the link sent to me and installed ok with no errors. I can load my custom maps etc fine but when logging I seem to be running into problems. It seems my first log always seems to not work when going to review. They are available but when I select them to load I get the following error "error, object reference not set to an instance of an object." if I load the one I took after that will load. It always seems to be first run I set logging.
Any ideas will be good I will reinstall but do I need to clean any files from my profile or anything first?
Thanks

Re: Strange error happening on logs
Would you guys mind sending your log database to us for analysis?
You need to take this file:
C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\VersaTune\VersaTuner\LocalData.vtdb
Zip it and email it to "support at versatune.net" (substitute at with @).
Thanks!

I sent them too. Anyways, I don't know if my laptop is really healthy & good , because when logging, it bsod's like every second time.
Once it bsod'd when flashing - luckily you have the recovery thingy in VT 1.7 so big thanks for that

Re: Strange error happening on logs
When using Tactrix OpenPort cables, a lot of blue screens are caused by loose connections and low quality cables. It is recommended to replace the USB cable, use a different USB port and check if the adapter is well connected to the DLC port on the car.
I've been running VT with Tactrix for years on Windows XP and Windows 7 with no issues.

Re: Strange error happening on logs
With Tactrix I ordered also a extension cable which seemed to be the culprit: after removed that and plugged tactrix straight to the obd port with usb - no bluescreens whatsoever.
So thanks Ugnius for a good tip
