Is there any way to force a backup of the existing map on my ECU if versatuner is already installed. Basically my car was previously remapped and tweeked using versatuner and I'd like a copy of the map currently on my car before trying others out. As versatuner is already installed I don't seem to be able to make a backup of my current map and the only way I can see to get one is by removing then reinstalling it but I'm led to believe if I uninstall versatuner it will put a generic base map on and not leave the modded one behind.

If you did not tune it yourself, you need to ask the person who tuned it to send you the tune. Custom tuning is copyrighted work and many tuners would not like their tunes to be easily accessible and shareable with others.
