Bug in Base93EU/98EU Octane High Load Map?

Post by jacobs53 »

Hi,

I am a previous Versatuner user and was extremely familiar with version 1.8.5 however I sold my car, I have now purchased another Mazda and have downloaded the latest version of Versatuner 1.9.5 and I have noticed some differences between the Base93US/95EU Octane High Load maps between the versions of Versa software??

In V1.8.5 I noticed that the map alters the CL AFR Target Extended table at load 1.25 @ 5000rpm to 0.725 lambda, whereas the same map within V1.9.5 retains the standard map CL AFR Target values of 0.694. This isn't the only change but its extremely strange why the same map version 1.03 has different values between the two versions of Versa? When I copy the high load V1.03 map from my old version of Versa 1.8.5 and import it into the latest version of Versa 1.9.5 the CL AFR Target Extended tables are changed from 0.725 to 0.694 lambda.... which is extremely worrying if the software is changing the map values!

Can you help explain why? I can provide additional information if required.

Thanks
Lee

What are the respective vehicle platforms and model years of the two versions of VT?
