VersaTune User Forum

Hello dear people. My Mazda 3 Mps had Ekutec software on it.
I went to the tuner to change the timing chain and turbocharger. I now have the Cst4 Turbo inside.

The tuner flashed everything back to OEM using cdm and flashed versatune on top.

During the vote we then had misfires. So the tuner flashed to OEM again using cdm and changed the ignition coils.
Now suddenly the Versatune software doesn't work anymore, an error code key 72 appears...
We do not know how to proceed, we have contacted support and are waiting for an answer. Maybe someone here can give me a tip. Thanks in advance

The error means that the security access key for the ECU has been changed and VersaTuner cannot get access.
I suspect that the file that was flashed was not stock. It is best to remove VersaTuner by using the "Return car to stock" feature in VersaTuner and not using a 3rd party bench flash tool.
