Installation Error

Completely stock 2023 ND2 MX-5
No CAN gadgets, bone stock,
Error occurred after “backing up stock tune” phase ram for about 25 minutes.

Error was “Could not get the number of available bytes (Error code: FT_IO_ERROR)

I have installed all drivers from the versatune website.
This is a windows 10 laptop with basically nothing on it.
OBD connection was secure.

Anyone have recommendations? I haven’t seen this error anywhere when searching online.
