Versatune error when opening?

I got a new laptop recently and can't seem to get versatuner to work. I keep getting a message about value can't be null. Any ideas?

That's weird. Did you perform a fresh install of VersaTuner or did you copy it from your old computer?

Downloaded it from from the site multiple times.
I started to think it was because it was trying to install it to the desktop on one drive but I went through disabling that and still the same error.

Please try running VersaTuner to generate that error, then open Event Viewer on Windows, then expand "Windows Logs - Application" and look for errors from VersaTune.Frontend. Select the error and email the details to
[email protected] or post here.

Just to close this out in case anyone else has this problem I tried to run the windows viewer and it was also giving me errors. After a lot of googling, reg editing and frustration I was lead to a fresh install of windows 11. That came with it's own problems but finally got through it and versatune is working. No idea why it was happening on a fairly new thinkpad.
