VE Tables for series 1 RX8

In most Volumetric Efficiency tables the cells are shown in percentage. In the rx8 table the cells range from .8744 to 1.1 what calculation is this? Thanks in advance 
The numbers are expressed as a ratio.
1.0 = 100%
0.87 = 87%
