Re: 3 BAR MAP
Steve told me he was looking for a male connector to fit the stock MAP connector. The plan is to make a plug and play adapter cable.
Re: 3 BAR MAP
JJ isnt that Bosch 3bar map sensor plug and play? It might be a better option than a GM unit that needs an adapter cable.

^^ that's what I thought from reading stuff on m6c.

What is the Bosch part number for the 3BAR sensor with the Mazda connector? I'll source one and add support for it.

I may be missing something, but it looks like he is using a pigtail to adapt to the Bosch connector.
Re: 3 BAR MAP
hmm .. I'll wait for JJ to chime in.. maybe that's the wrong sensor I'm pointing to.

no you need the pig tail. That would be awesome if we could find the right stock connector so people wouldnt have to cut their harness though with the use of an adapter cable

Re: 3 BAR MAP
How are you guys getting around the CHAR datatype problem in the ECU? a CHAR variable can only hold up to 255, the ecu uses kPa to convert from MAP voltage, so the most it can read is total 255 kPa so having an upgraded 3 bar MAP sensor doesnt do you any good until you can change the datatype to something else besides CHAR.
