Tune development
Re: Tune development
I know what you mean I switched back to the 175 tune again this week and it's leagues behind the beta tune. I'm just desperate for Steve or ugnius of any other tuning expert to give clarity on the egt differences between the tunes I'd asked about changing in my earlier post so I can edit and run it again
Re: Tune development
Steve, Ugnius,
Can we please have an update, will we be getting anymore updates to this tune ?

Re: Tune development
I made some checks and according to WinOLS project with Denso "DAMOS" mapping I provided to Ugnius there's problem with table "The boost limit based on boost air temperature. This is to prevent excessively high air charge temperatures or operating the turbos far outside of their efficiency range."
Looks like it is some "error case" limiter named MXLFFOC_ERR_D (low) depending not on RPM/temperature, but on RPM and injection amount in mm3/stroke. Right above is (on SH01 calibration) same table named MXHFFOC_ERR_D (high) completely filled with 280 kPa.
Injection Limit Max - Per gear is wrong too, its table called TTAFHMODE0W_THW_D, in ms and depending on temperature in grade C (called THW).
Thus Stage 1 Performance is little bit mistaken here.

Re: Tune development
Shr3k could you please supply the correct values for these tables so we can edit them. Also does the issue affect everyone and how do we know?
Re: Tune development
Just use right click > Reset value.

Re: Tune development
Can the beta tune be updated from this then?
Re: Tune development
Just checked the beta tune and the values already match both the stock 150 & 175 tune
Re: Tune development
Another curve, Stage 1 Performance, Torque Limit Per Gear is mistaken, it's table named TREV_OFS_REVCTL_D and it is in RPM not Nm. X values are marked GEARP_REV, which seems to be gear, but from name and units it looks like some offset in RPM.

Re: Tune development
Have done all the changes and loaded the tune and it's still not close to the beta tune for smoothness and power. I can't believe that the performance map Dyno run calibrated map is so poor compared to the beta map that was done just on a computer. Hats off to you shr3k that tune is almost perfect and worth paying for
Re: Tune development
When you say "Stage 1 Performance", do you refer to old 1.08 tune, or new 2.04 Beta tune?
