Tuning Questions for Mazdaspeed 6 After TMIC and Downpipe Install

Hey everyone,
I've got a couple of tuning questions regarding my Mazdaspeed 6. Current mods include AutoTech HPFP internals, VTCS delete, and a 3-inch intake. I'm planning to install a TMIC and a V1 catted downpipe this weekend. My MAF calibration is already dialed in (STFT and LTFT stay at 0% across the entire WOT pull).
After the install, I was thinking of modifying my current tune based on the 91 octane base map (no reliable access to 93 near me in Colorado) . Specifically, I'd pull the BCSDC tables from the Versatuner 93 octane high-flow downpipe base tune, then scale up the load targets above 3k RPM, letting them taper off above 5k. I'd go in 5% increments and stop once I get the load to a point where WGDC is around 80% or the car feels fast enough. From there, I assume I should start incrementally advancing ignition timing (maybe in 1-degree steps) until I see KR above zero, then back it off by 1-2 degrees for safety.
Are there any other tables I should adjust besides load targets, BCSDC, and ignition timing? Do I need to tweak VE at all? If so, what's the best way to correctly tune VE?

Since you have fuel pump internals I'd leave the BCS DC table where it is now, since you will be targeting more load anyway. You can use the BCS DC table values from an OTS tune made for an aftermarket downpipe and eventually increment those to where you need them for your load targets.
You can also start using the ignition timing values from a similar Base 91US/95EU OTS tune... However, remember that these tunes use the ignition tables form the stock tunes, so there is a lot of room for improvement. With these said your strategy looks good.
You do not have any reason to touch the VE tables because we have a MAF on these cars. Not even with aftermarket cams.
