Re: Welcome!
Winter season has definitely brought more silence to the tuning world. Some beta testers have garaged their cars until spring, so testing progresses slower than usual. Nevertheless, we are in the last stages of version 1 and a public release will come any day now. I am currently finishing a very high performance interactive log viewer, that will be ultrafast at displaying anything from milliseconds to hours of logs at all zoom levels. Other than that, everything seems to be working great.
Re: Welcome!
Nice, just checking if everything is still alive and helping to convince myself not to get an ecutek tune
but patiently waiting for a more flexible affordable solution.

Re: Welcome!
Congrats on the launch of the software.
Will you also be offering e-tuning services?
Can a third party e-tune my car or do they need a copy of the program as well?
How about some extensive betatester feedback

Re: Welcome!
Thanks!
We personally wouldn't have the time to create personal tunes for everyone, instead we try to focus on maintaining a wide selection of universal tunes for different popular modifications. Of course those tunes are a little on the conservative side to account for all the possible differences between cars, but they will serve as a good starting point for developing a custom tune.
Since VersaTuner personal is licensed for use with a specific VIN, a third party can e-tune your car by using your version of the software (it can be installed on multiple computers, but can only connect to a single vehicle).
