MAP Multiplier not updating

Post by sigratton »

Hi, I have wired in my GM 3 bar MAP sensor today and just viewed the voltage and KPA in the dashboard, without the engine running and it looks to be working perfectly. I have 1.52v with is about 38kpa with the MAP multiplier for the stock MAP sensor.

I have edited by tune and set the MAP multiplier to 63.33 as a starting point, saved my tuned, reopened the tune and validated that the new multiplier is saved. However, after flashing the new tune onto the ECU, it has no effect. When I log the the Volts and Kpa it is as it was before with the ~38kpa, hence it is still using the old multiplier.

I blew into the new map sensor and the logged values change, so it is definitely logging and the MAP sensor is working

I have tried flashing the ECU about 10 times and get the same result.

What is the issue?? Thx.

In addition to changing the multiplier in the tune, you also need to set it in the dashboard for the "Intake manifold absolute pressure" parameters. Hover the mouse over "Customize..." and enter it in the window that pops up.
