Map editing
Re: Map editing
Log it and compare it to the table. That limit is only there in case something breaks, it should be ~20kpa higher than what you need to hit your targets.

Re: Map editing
I'm struggling here, my throttle keeps closing early on in the WOT runs. I am nowhere near the MAP limits or load req, so why is this happening?

Re: Map editing
Put DBW DC to 80 in 2500/1.75 and 2500/1.813 That will help.

Re: Map editing
The ECU performs some amount of averaging between previous value and next target value to smooth transitions. If there is a large dip, future values will be affected for a number of cycles.

Re: Map editing
It doesn't show every time though, I had only flashed that map for a few miles so perhaps that's why. Besides, I was always told that anything under 2 was nothing to worry about?
What do you think yields more power steve, richer afr's with more timing or leaner with less?

Re: Map editing
That would require some dyno time to prove out. I ran out of time to play with that when I had a MS3 on the dyno. I am working on scheduling another session.

Re: Map editing
EU98 high load tune and first time spinning on 3rd, nice! A log file is attached, I tried to attach a pdf as well but I can't....
Pull is around 211 sec.
I see there a (small) boost spike to 1,5 bar. How to iron that out, change something in DBW Throttle tables or BCS tables?
I would also like to add fuel a bit, should I modify Open loop WOT AFR tables or change MAF calibration? I know I have a HPFP issue...

Re: Map editing
What was the ambient air temperature when the log was taken. Do you recall what gear you were in when the MAP hit 246kPa at 541s into the log?
