How to check knock sensor??

Hello,
I`m new to this forum and i have recently purchase versatuner (very very good software).

So i have a question is there anyone knows how can i check if my knock sensor is working properly?

Log normal driving with the Ignition Timing preset. You will typically see an occasional blip of Knock Retard when you transition to light acceleration from cruise.

You may also see KR around 5200 RPM at WOT. This is a common place where knock is seen.

If you want to be certain, you can run the fuel tank near dry and put a small amount of low octane gas in and drive. You will see plenty of knock then. Fill the rest of the tank with premium after testing.

A heat soaked engine will knock the most. Shut it off hot, let it sit for 5 - 10 minutes, then start it up and test.
