Its past its effiencieny range and blows a lot of hot air but im over that. still makes power haha. idk....another reason why i need to keep afr a little richer than ideal. i like power til redline
I think pushing the ko4 at the top end is ok if you're only doing the odd WOT run here and there. If you're doing trackdays and are constantly pushing high psi at high rpm for a prolonged period then it becomes a problem IMO. In that case I would lower the loads and try to make as much back as I could with afr and timing.

Hopefully sometime next week, getting my new tyres today so I should at least be able to do some 4th gear logging and fine tuning :)

Am I right in thinking that if you increase the DBW throttle tables it will increase throttle response? I know it gives a description but I can't get my head around what it actually does.

You should set the DBW throttle percent to deliver the load that is requested. For example, if at 2000 RPM ,37% throttle delivers 1.188 load, then set that cell to 37. Perceived throttle response should be managed by the APP requested load tables.

So for setting that up you should log some mixed driving?

Log steady state operation similar to MAF cal. Slowly increase throttle and record what load is delivered. Give it a second to stabilize at each throttle position.

Thanks for clearing that up.
I'm at a bit of a crossroads now, I upped app req load at 100% and then tapered it down the table but the car now feels slower. If I use higher loads further down the table I get boost going past 21psi which then requires a less peak load to control. Any advice on which is better?

When boost is >21psi, what load are you hitting? Above or below your load target?

Idk at the minute, I've not logged it yet, It's just what I saw on the dashhawk. I'll only be able to test it tomorrow. I take it either scenario would be tackled in different ways?
