I guess that unless they plug a pressure sensor in your intake manifold they can't really tell how much boost your turbo makes, right? So trust your logs, not theirs, let them tell you only how fast and hard the wheels are spinning the rollers.
The K04 reaches full boost on a stock engine/intake/ECU tune around 2500rpm and there's no reason to work differently with a new tune (I guess that with an upgraded TMIC and/or downpipe it should spool even faster).
So if it takes 1000-1500rpm more to spool then most probably you have a boost leak (that if you still run on the K04 and not on some big snail like gt35 which spools at 4k). Or, maybe, a wastegate problem or an exhaust leak just before the turbo (the turbo flange gasket may cause this I guess).

Yeah, I know. The logs I took on the dyno show full boost at nearly 4000, on the road after it's at 2500. Ok, I've installed the Versatuner. I don't have the tactrix cable yet (I'll get it on Dec 28) so I'm just exploring the maps.
Now (obviously) I have a few questions:
1. how to I raise the idle RPM? Under the "Idle" table I have two entries, "Idle RPM 1" and "Idle RPM 2". The second one seems to be the for the car start-up but I'm not sure.
So I guess I should simply raise the RPM in both sections and eventually smooth the transition a bit between ECT's, right?
2. All OTS maps available are for stock TBE, IC and intake. What are the changes I should do and where to get the best performance from my TBE and upgraded TMIC and also make sure I will not run into any boost spike issues? As for the intake a MAF cal should fix the default scaling (I have the Cobb SRI), I checked the existing MAF calibrations and compared them against the logs I have and they are pretty far off, but that's something I can fix I think.

I just raised the two idle tables at the highest ECT as it's only when up to temperature when the revs drop that we get vibes from the rmm.
Flash the high load map, do the maf cal and then the wgdc and fuel targets. Everytime you raise loads, redo the wgdc. Get that to where you want it then start advancing timing.

I don't seem to be able to find anything about the wastegate duty cycles, but I'll keep looking.

Use the general pre-set, do a wot log. Where abs load is the same as req load (you'll have to look at your tune for that), look at the wgdc% required and put that value in the BCS base table. You start overboosting if you don't do this.

First dry day for about two weeks today so I checked my maf cal (all good) so I advanced timing a up to 2 degrees over stock in places, gonna see how that settles then maybe try and raise some more.

My car liked the timing revisions, so I've added another half a degree.
Question: in the timing table the load column only goes up to 2.0, where does the ecu pull the base values for loads over that? Or should it read 2.0+?

It uses the last row for values > 2.0. The same logic applies to all tables when the lookup exceeds the bounds of the axes.

Interesting, I'm gonna do some real intensive testing over the course of this week so I get as much as I can through the timing. I should be able to increase that last couple of rows quite a bit then in the upper rpm's where I have richer afrs.
